(Big League Politics) – Donnie’s back and he’s out for blood! Former President Donald Trump is making headlines after he filed a lawsuit Thursday against failed 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton alleging that they “maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative” about the Donald Trump campaign illegally colluding with Russia.
In other words, Trump wants payback for the Russian collusion hoax that came to be known as “Russiagate” over time.
Trump reportedly claims that he incurred expenses of at least 24 million dollars from defending himself against false Russian collusion allegations alone.
“Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty,” the lawsuit states. “The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme — falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly-sensitive data sources — are so outrageous, subversive and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison.”
The lawsuit pulls no punches, stating that the “scheme was conceived, coordinated and carried out by top-level officials at the Clinton Campaign and the DNC—including ‘the candidate’ herself.”
MSN reported that Nick Merrill, a Clinton spokesman, responded to the lawsuit with a one-word statement: “Nonsense.”
“The lawsuit filed today outlines the defendants’ nefarious plot to vilify Donald J. Trump by spreading lies to weave a false narrative that he was colluding with Russia,” Alina Habba, an attorney to former President Trump, told Fox News. “For years, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts attempted to shield themselves from culpability by directing others to do their dirty work for them.”
Habba said to Fox News that this lawsuit “seeks to hold all parties accountable for their heinous acts and uphold the principles of our sacred democracy.”
“This action exposes the remarkably devious tactics employed by the Defendants, who were so blinded by their political ambitions that they acted with callous disregard for the damage they have caused,” Habba continued. “Clinton and her team weaponized the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other federal agencies by instigating an investigation they knew had no merit.”
“Among other things, they fabricated evidence, deceived federal authorities, and abused access to highly-sensitive databases,” she added.
Previous investigations on whether the Donald Trump campaign potentially colluded with Russia have turned up zero evidence whatsoever. A previous investigation through the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller around the beginning of Trump’s presidency found no evidence of illegal or criminal coordination between the former president or his campaign and Russia in 2016.
