Elon Musk, the CEO and founder of SpaceX, Tesla, and Starlink, expressed his dissatisfaction with President Joe Biden and his administration’s inability to effectively secure the U.S.-Mexico border. Musk shared his concerns on his X platform, highlighting the confusion and conflicting federal court rulings surrounding a stringent immigration enforcement law in Texas.
“Crazy that Texas has to do the job of the Biden administration, which filed aggressive legal action to stop the state! If anyone still doesn’t believe that ushering in illegals is the goal of the Biden administration, this should convince them,” Musk wrote.
He added: “As always, I say this as an immigrant who is proud to have become a citizen and who supports expanded and expedited *legal* immigration.”
On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to uphold the block on Texas enforcing SB 4, a stringent new state law granting Texas authorities the ability to apprehend, detain, and expel individuals discovered illegally crossing into the country through Texas. However, the justices also sent the case back to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, resulting in an immediate reinstatement of the law’s block.
