(TStarnes) – President Biden just announced he plans to give Gaza $100 million in American tax dollars. In other words, the United States is now funding Hamas.
“I just announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and the West Bank,” the president said. “This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians. And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups.”
Dov Hikind, a former New York State assemblyman and a Jewish activist, raised a very interesting question.
“Gazan civilians definitely need aid and should get it,” he said. “But if you have mechanisms through which you can ensure the aid doesn’t reach terrorist hands, why weren’t they already in place long before Hamas launched its atrocities?”
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis condemned the president’s decision:
“Joe Biden just announced $100 million of your taxpayer dollars going to the Gaza Strip. They say it’s humanitarian assistance. We know Hamas is going to commandeer that money, and Hamas is going to use it to advance terrorism. I say no U.S. tax dollars to the Gaza Strip. We still have hostages being held by Hamas. There are American hostages being held by Hamas. How are you funding them when they’re holding Americans, as well as others, hostage? I challenge every Republican running: step up to the plate. Join me in opposing Biden’s $100 million gift to Hamas.”

This is absolutely ludicrous. Not a single penny of our tax dollars should be used to fund Hamas – especially while they continue to hold Americans hostages.
