Individuals from President Biden’s close circle and former colleagues of First Lady Jill Biden are uniting to provide assistance to a senior staff member who has been accused of sexual harassment, as highlighted by the New York Post.

“Nearly a dozen current and former colleagues of Anthony Bernal, an assistant to the president and top aide to the first lady, have alleged he has a long-running history of bullying and verbal sexual harassment, including speculating on the penis sizes of staffers in conversations, which one individual described as an attempt ‘to make people feel uncomfortable and have power over them,’” Fox News reported.

The unidentified workers informed the New York Post that they decided to speak up hoping that Bernal would be held accountable for his actions. However, due to his close relationship with the first lady, some individuals doubted the possibility of him facing consequences and labeled him as “untouchable.”

As for the possibility of an internal inquiry into Bernal’s conduct, both the White House and the First Lady’s office chose not to directly address inquiries from Fox News Digital. In response to the allegations put forth by the employees, former and current associates of Biden, as well as former colleagues of Bernal, provided statements to Fox News in defense of his character.

“Anthony is one of the most generous, conscientious, and brilliant people working at the White House,” a White House official told Fox News Digital. “In the 20 years I’ve known him, I’ve never heard him to make comments like the ones alleged– in fact, he’s always been quite intentional and purposeful in making sure colleagues at every level feel valued and appreciated.”

“I’ve worked with Anthony for almost 30 years — and I’ve always seen him act with the utmost professionalism and compassion toward his team,” Biden’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, told Fox News Digital.

Several of Bernal’s former colleagues also stood by his side. Throughout the initial two years of Biden’s presidency, he collaborated with a staff member from the office of a former first lady, who conveyed a significant amount of admiration for him as both a leader and a colleague.

“He has a good heart and always keeps the people we serve at the forefront of his decisions,” they said. “As one of the youngest staff in the office, he consistently asked for and valued my perspective and contributions.”

Bernal consistently provides assistance to his coworkers and motivates them to surpass their own expectations in order to achieve exceptional outcomes, as stated by an individual who has collaborated closely with him for almost three decades across various industries.

“All the while, he relentlessly exemplifies that family comes first, and the highest form of public service is to find more to give,” they added. “Anthony’s expectations are set high, but his grace is even higher. He is truly the epitome of a public servant-leader.”

A different coworker, who claimed to have a 15-year history of knowing and collaborating with Bernal, mentioned that they have never witnessed him using any inappropriate language towards anyone.

“The White House is a demanding workplace requiring the best efforts of all its employees, and Anthony’s leadership has helped me and many others maximize our abilities,” they said. “He challenged me to be better than I ever thought I could be, and as a result, I’m a far better person and co-worker because of that interaction.”

Leo Terrell, a civil rights attorney and contributor to Fox News, strongly criticized New York Attorney General Letitia James prior to the deadline for former President Donald Trump to pay his reduced civil fraud penalty. Terrell, speaking on Fox News alongside host Mark Levin, pointed out that James’ pursuit of Trump was clearly driven by political motives, as evidenced by her own statements in campaign videos from 2018 where she vowed to take legal action against the then-president.

“Bankrupt him under the phony law and phony prosecutor. I don’t know, when I was a young attorney if you were running for office to be the attorney general of the state and you said you’re going to target Donald Trump, ‘I’m going to get Donald Trump,’ … it would be brought to the bar,” the host began. The bar would’ve brought it up itself, they would have condemned it, and they would have sanctioned that attorney.

“You are not allowed to run for office, much less a prosecutorial office, and to make claims like that under any rules of ethical conduct in any state that I am aware of. It is so corrupt. Is the bar filled with Democrats who have not said or done anything? What about the legal profession now? What you make of that?” Levin asked.

“Look, let me be clear, there is no legal profession in New York. What you just articulated, I will be as clear as possible. Letitia James is a racist. She targeted Trump. I submit to the following evidence — the videotape of her claiming that if she gets into office, she will go after Trump,” Terrell said.

“And then she colludes with a left-wing progressive judge who doesn’t know anything about real estate, and again, they are trying to prevent Trump from running for office. According to The Post Millennial, Simon & Schuster decided to end its agreement with Alex Thompson, a national political correspondent for Axios, as they predicted low sales figures.

Thompson confirmed in his own post that the publisher has withdrawn from the agreement.

White House representative Karine Jean-Pierre has reaffirmed her stance following President Joe Biden’s proclamation of Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

Jean-Pierre’s response on X Saturday came in the wake of widespread criticism towards Biden’s enthusiastic endorsement of this contentious observance on the same day as the most sacred Christian holiday.

“On Transgender Day of Visibility, the Biden-Harris Administration honors the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirms our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect union where all people are treated equally,” Jean-Pierre posted.

Biden’s statement, released on Good Friday, a significant day for Christians, emphasized that “transgender Americans are integral to the foundation of our country” and urged for the approval of the Equality Act. This legislation would formalize the Democratic Party’s support for gender identity, the controversial belief that individuals can identify as a gender different from their biological one. Despite numerous attempts by Democrats to pass the bill, it has not yet reached the desk of a sitting president.

Following the widespread circulation of Biden’s announcement, Christians nationwide expressed their opinions. Additionally, a majority of Republicans in Congress strongly objected to it.

In previous years, Biden has shared an Easter message on Easter Day. However, these statements were considerably shorter and appeared to be more generic compared to his extensive call-to-arms for Transgender Day of Visibility.

Three of Senator John Fetterman’s key communication aides have recently resigned from their positions. As reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Nick Gavio, who served as Fetterman’s deputy communications director, will be leaving at the end of March to take on a new role with the Working Families Party.

Another member of the team, Joe Calvello, who previously held the position of communications director, recently joined Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s team. Additionally, Emma Mustion, a press and digital aide, has departed from Fetterman’s office to support Senator Bob Casey’s reelection campaign.

The departure of numerous staff members aligns with Fetterman’s recent public dispute with congressional Democrats and the Biden administration regarding his position on border security and the Israel-Hamas conflict.

“We now know this was a wide-scale, premeditated, cowardly, terrorist campaign against Israeli civilians that also claimed the lives of American citizens,” said Fetterman after the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. “I unequivocally support any necessary military, intelligence, and humanitarian aid to Israel. The United States is morally obligated to be in lockstep with our allies as they confront this threat. “I also fully support Israel neutralizing the terrorists responsible for this barbarism.”

Four sources informed West Wing Playbook that journalists in the White House press corps have been taking insignia items from Air Force One while covering President Joe Biden’s administration.

The thefts allegedly became so rampant during Biden’s term that the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, NBC correspondent Kelly O’Donnell, sent out a brief reminder that stealing from Air Force One is prohibited. This was confirmed by multiple individuals who had access to the off-the-record email.

According to reports, none of the press corps members acknowledged or responded to O’Donnell’s email. Some of the items allegedly stolen include: Wine glasses, Tumblers, gold-rimmed plates, and embroidered pillowcases.

“For years, scores of journalists — and others — have quietly stuffed everything from engraved whiskey tumblers to wine glasses to pretty much anything with the Air Force One insignia on it into their bag before stepping off the plane,” Playbook reported:

“On my first flight, the person next to me was like, ‘You should take that glass,’” one current White House reporter told West Wing Playbook. “They were like: ‘Everyone does it.’” “When we raised the subject with current and former White House correspondents, stories spilled forth. There’s one about the senator in the front of the plane who — as a chatty aide told reporters — was taking everything not bolted down. Several colleagues of one former White House correspondent for a major newspaper described them hosting a dinner party where all the food was served on gold-rimmed Air Force One plates, evidently taken bit by bit over the course of some time. Reporters recalled coming down the back stairs after returning to Joint Base Andrews in the evening with the sounds of clinking glassware or porcelain plates in their backpacks.”

O’Donnell is facing mounting pressure to take action against the alleged thefts, as the reported looting has reached an alarming level. White House officials, who are familiar with the matter, informed Playbook that the crackdown is not intended to embarrass individual reporters but rather to convey a strong message that these thefts must come to an end.

In one documented incident, an email was sent out requesting reporters to promptly return any items that may have been unintentionally taken. It has been reported that one particular journalist, who received the email, was accused of stealing an intricately embroidered pillowcase. Allegedly, this individual admitted to the theft and arranged a time to return the item in Lafayette Square, just outside the White House. Upon returning the pillowcase to a White House press wrangler, the exchange took place smoothly, and the matter was resolved.

The reported looting of Air Force One not only reflects poorly on the press corps but also exacerbates the existing lack of trust in the establishment media. According to a Gallup poll released in 2023, confidence in the media’s ability to accurately report news in a comprehensive, impartial, and precise manner has plummeted to its lowest level since the record low of 2016.

A significant number of demonstrators supporting Palestine assembled outside President Joe Biden’s campaign fundraiser on Thursday evening, reportedly leading to the arrest of several individuals.

Footage shared on Twitter depicts protesters congregating outside Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan while Biden held a fundraiser alongside former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. A sizable crowd was obstructed by barricades and a row of New York Police Department (NYPD) officers stationed in front of the venue.

The raging crowd chanted “revolution,” “free, free, free Palestine” and “Biden, Biden you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide.” Some of the signs being carried read “End all U.S. aid to Israel.”

During the protest, a separate video captured a tense exchange between a bystander and an activist. The male bystander mentioned that he needed to pass through to see his “dying mother,” but the activist refused to let him through, waving her hands in the air. More activists joined in blocking the bystander, until a male protester pulled him back and pushed him away. Subsequently, multiple protesters began shoving the bystander, while someone off-camera urged them to “stop.” NYPD officers arrived to escort the bystander, instructing the protesters to “stay back.” Another intense moment from the event was recorded when an Israeli supporter walked through the crowd, facing taunts and demands to leave.

A fundraising event took place in New York City on Thursday, featuring President Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton. The event managed to raise an impressive $25 million, setting a new record for the largest amount collected at a political gathering, according to Biden’s campaign.

This substantial sum demonstrates the strong support that Democrats have for Biden, especially during a time when his poll numbers have been consistently low. As he prepares to face off against presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, Biden will put the power of this campaign cash to the test. Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016 proved that raising the most money is not always necessary to secure the presidency.

The event, held at Radio City Music Hall, will serve as a grand symbol of Biden’s recent surge in presidential campaign activities. Over the past three weeks, he has visited several crucial political battlegrounds, rallying support for his reelection bid. Additionally, the event brings together more than three decades of Democratic leadership. The hours-long event offers different levels of access based on the generosity of donors. The highlight will be an onstage conversation among the three presidents, moderated by late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert. The event will also feature performances by Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, and Lea Michele, with actress Mindy Kaling as the host. Thousands of attendees are expected, and tickets are available for as low as $225.

Donors who contribute more money will have the opportunity for more intimate interactions with the presidents. A photo with all three presidents costs $100,000, while a donation of $250,000 grants access to a reception. Those who donate $500,000 will gain entry to an even more exclusive gathering.

However, the festivities do not end there. First Lady Jill Biden and DJ D-Nice will host an after-party at Radio City Music Hall, which will be attended by 500 guests. Obama and Clinton’s involvement in the event is helping Biden further increase his already significant financial advantage over Trump. As of the end of February, Biden had $155 million in cash on hand, compared to Trump’s $37 million and his Save America political action committee.

The New York City event on Thursday has amassed a total of $25 million, which comprises contributions from supporters who eagerly donated in the weeks leading up to the fundraiser for an opportunity to participate. Notably, this amount surpasses the $5 million that Trump managed to raise in February.
