Breaking: Far-Left Congresswoman Under Criminal Investigation

Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), a member of the progressive “Squad” in Congress, is currently being investigated by the Department of Justice (DOJ) over allegations of misappropriating government funds designated for private security. According to Punchbowl News, the DOJ has initiated a criminal probe into Bush, with six sources confirming the allegations.

In light of this investigation, the Justice Department has issued a subpoena to the House Sergeant at Arms, requesting records pertaining to the misuse of federal security funds. As a result, the House clerk has officially notified the House chamber that the Sergeant at Arms’ office has been served with a grand jury subpoena by the DOJ.

The official House website states:

“The Sergeant at Arms is the chief law enforcement and protocol officer of the House of Representatives and is responsible for maintaining order in the House side of the United States Capitol complex. The Sergeant at Arms reviews and implements all issues relating to the safety and security of Members of Congress and the Capitol complex. The Sergeant at Arms also coordinates extensively with the U.S. Capitol Police and various intelligence agencies to assess threats against Members of Congress and the Capitol complex.”

Initially, the reports refrained from disclosing the identity of the House Democrat involved in the investigation. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that a House Democrat had previously undergone an investigation by the Federal Elections Commission due to the alleged misuse of campaign funds for personal security.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that Bush persisted in compensating Cortney Merritts, now her husband, for private security services even after their marriage.

Biden Unveils Secret Weapon For 2024

President Joe Biden is currently experiencing historically low disapproval ratings and is actively searching for ways to revitalize his campaign by attracting new, youthful energy. Meanwhile, his probable opponent in the upcoming election, former President Donald Trump, continues to gain momentum in the Republican primaries.

In order to infuse his re-election bid with a “fresh vibe,” Biden’s team is exploring potential endorsements from influential figures, including celebrities. One notable name that has emerged is Taylor Swift, a renowned star who holds the distinction of being the first artist to achieve a tour gross exceeding $1 billion, with an impressive 4.35 million tickets sold across 60 tour dates in 2023.

Biden and his team are particularly concerned about connecting with voting blocs that are currently shifting away from the president, such as young, black, and Latino voters. While Biden secured the support of young voters by a margin of 20 percentage points in 2020, he now finds himself in a tie with Trump among this demographic. This can be attributed, in part, to concerns regarding Biden’s age, his stance on Israel, and the state of the economy. Democratic allies and lawmakers are apprehensive about Biden’s ability to win over these voters and secure a second term.

“To reach young voters, Biden’s campaign has focused heavily on social media, using videos from influencers and even those with a niche following to promote its message. The president recently visited the home of a man who had his federal loans canceled through Biden’s program, a focal point of Biden’s reelection campaign. The man’s son posted a video of Biden’s visit on TikTok, drawing millions of views,” the Washington Examiner reported.

“The campaign is discussing opportunities for celebrities to promote the president on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, according to the New York Times. There are plans to hold a fundraiser with two former Democratic presidents, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, sources told NBC News. However, the end game is to receive an endorsement from Swift, who has become influential both on and off the stage on social media. Her recent appearances at NFL games have grown her fan base dramatically as well,” the outlet added.

In 2020, Taylor Swift expressed her endorsement for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, demonstrating her support. As a result of her single post on Instagram, a remarkable 35,000 new voter registrations were recorded.

Swift’s dedicated efforts to raise funds for Biden’s campaign hold the potential to channel millions of dollars into the cause. Furthermore, there have been discussions regarding the possibility of inviting Biden to one of Swift’s Eras Tour shows, which is scheduled to continue its second leg on February 7th in Tokyo, Japan.

Recognizing the advantages of having Swift rally behind the Democratic cause, other prominent figures such as Governor Gavin Newsom of California have encouraged her to further engage with Biden’s campaign following her influential get-out-the-vote post on Instagram.

“Taylor Swift stands tall and unique,” the California governor said. “What she was able to accomplish just in getting young people activated to consider that they have a voice and that they should have a choice in the next election, I think, is profoundly powerful.”

Vice President Kamala Harris is currently embarking on a nationwide tour to actively involve young voters, rather than depending solely on celebrity endorsements. During a recent interview, she expressed her admiration for Generation Z, referring to them as an exceptional generation.

“It’s a lived experience for them,” Harris said. “They’ve only known the climate crisis. Most of them have endured active shooter drills between kindergarten and 12th grade. During the height of their reproductive years, they saw the court take away an essential right for them. And so traveling the country makes a difference to one, listen, but to remind people that they are being seen and that what they do matters, including that they vote.”

Watch: Biden Suffers Another Brain Freeze While Giving Slurred Speech

Following a weekend filled with embarrassing blunders, concerns regarding Democrat President Joe Biden’s capability to hold office are intensifying.

As previously reported by Slay News, videos capturing Biden’s public statements over the past few days have been rapidly spreading on social media. On Saturday, during a speech in South Carolina, Biden seemed to deviate from his prepared remarks and embarked on a perplexing tirade.

Biden had traveled to the state to deliver a speech at a political event called South Carolina’s First in the Nation Dinner, held in Columbia. His address took place at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia.

However, instead of sticking to the script provided by his team, Biden began slurring his words and delivering incoherent rants about President Donald Trump. It appeared that Biden completely disregarded the guidance of his handlers and started expressing angry and bewildering statements. The president, visibly disoriented, suddenly transitioned into a state of anger and began shouting without any apparent reason.

During his speech, Biden spoke incoherently and slurred his words. On Monday, a new video clip of the speech surfaced, where Biden referred to Trump as “the sitting president.” While discussing the economy, Biden diverted the conversation to launch an attack against Trump.

“American consumers are facing real confidence in our economy we are building,” Biden rambled as he struggled to read from the teleprompter.

“Let me tell you who else is noticing that,” he added as he turned away from the script.

“Donald Trump – Did you see what he recently said about… he wants to see the economy crash this year?

“A sitting president,” Biden added.

“As they say in my faith, bless me, Father…”

Biden Admin PANICS After Congress Announces Articles Of Impeachment

House Republicans made significant progress on Sunday in their efforts to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas due to his handling of the ongoing border crisis.

Republicans just announced not one but two articles of impeachment. The first charges Mayorkas with displaying a “willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law,” while the second states that he “knowingly made false statements, and knowingly obstructed lawful oversight of the Department of Homeland Security.”

“These articles lay out a clear, compelling, and irrefutable case for Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ impeachment,” said House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.).

“The results of his lawless behavior have been disastrous for our country,” added Green.

DHS responded by claiming that Republicans “undermined efforts to achieve bipartisan solutions and ignored the facts, legal scholars and experts, and even the Constitution itself in their quest to baselessly impeach Secretary Mayorkas.”

NBC News reported:

“Green’s committee will consider the articles of impeachment on Tuesday. Approval would move the impeachment effort one step closer to a floor vote in the House. Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said in a letter to colleagues Friday that “a vote on the floor will be held as soon as possible thereafter,” but did not specify a date.

The Republican-led Homeland Security Committee has criticized Mayorkas’ implementation of a series of family reunification parole programs that allowed certain foreign nationals to wait in the U.S. for immigration visas, calling the moves unlawful. The first article of impeachment argues that Mayorkas instead should have prioritized resources for enforcing detention of people who illegally crossed the border.”

The Biden admin claimed that under the Immigration and Nationality Act, DHS has complied with “the mandatory detention requirements of the INA to the maximum extent possible” but that a “standard requiring 100% detention would mean that Congress should have impeached every DHS Secretary since the Department was founded.”

Mayorkas is accused in the second article of providing false information to Congress by repeatedly asserting under oath that the border was secure, while simultaneously obstructing congressional oversight.

“Congress has a duty to see that the executive branch implements and enforces the laws we have passed. Yet Secretary Mayorkas has repeatedly refused to do so,” Green said on Sunday. “His lawless behavior was exactly what the Framers gave us the impeachment power to remedy. It is time we take this affront to a coequal branch of government, to the Constitution, and to the American people seriously.”

During a recent hearing to investigate the possibility of impeaching Mayorkas, a Democrat allegedly made a comment that has been widely criticized. The remark was directed towards Josephine Dunn, a grieving mother who tragically lost her daughter to a fentanyl overdose.

According to Fox News, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) accused Dunn of being “used” by Republicans during the hearing. This comment came after Dunn had been invited by Republicans to share her heartbreaking story and provide insight into the devastating effects of fentanyl.

It is important to approach such sensitive matters with empathy and respect, acknowledging the pain and loss experienced by individuals like Josephine Dunn.

The Democrat then claimed he wanted to “apologize in some ways” because she was “being used as a fact witness for an impeachment investigation.”

Then he said: “Obviously, given what your experience has been, you don’t have the background to understand what a high crime and misdemeanor is and how it relates to this.”

Dunn was furious, stating that Goldman is “unaware about what my understanding, about what my education, what my experience is in any of those areas when it comes to misdemeanors or high crimes.”

“I have my opinions, and for him to assume that I want to just put more money into a system that has had plenty of money placed into it and is still broken is incorrect. Please don’t think for me. I have a brain. I can think and speak for myself,” she said.

U.S. Troops Killed In Deadly Attack

President Joe Biden faced strong criticism from Republicans following the U.S. military’s announcement of three American troops killed and 25 injured in a drone attack in Jordan on Sunday.

“Joe Biden emboldened Iran for years by tolerating attacks on our troops, bribing the ayatollahs with billions of dollars, and appeasing them to no end. He left our troops as sitting ducks and now three are dead and dozens wounded, sadly as I’ve predicted would happen for months,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) responded.

“On behalf of Arkansans, I extend my deepest condolence to the families of our brave fallen warriors. May God comfort them as He welcomes their loved ones into His embrace. And may God quickly and completely heal their wounded comrades,” he added.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) went on to attack Biden’s entire strategy with Iran:

“There have been over 100 attacks against U.S. forces in the region. Iran is undeterred,” he said, adding, “I am sending my condolences to the families of our fallen heroes in Jordan. I am also wishing a full recovery to those injured. Our forces in Jordan and Syria are there to protect the American homeland and to provide stability in a troubled region. Their service and sacrifice will always be appreciated. They are true heroes.”

On Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Central Command made an announcement stating that three U.S. service members lost their lives and 25 others were injured due to an attack by a one-way attack drone on a military base located in northeast Jordan, near the border with Syria.

Ever since the terrorist attack carried out by Hamas in Israel on October 7, Iran-proxy forces have been specifically targeting U.S. troops in the region. This attack resulted in the tragic loss of over 1,200 lives.

Since mid-October, there have been more than 150 attacks against U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria, with at least one individual sustaining critical injuries. However, the attack on Sunday marked the first instance in recent months where U.S. troops were killed as a result of such an attack. Both Cotton and Graham went on to call for immediate retaliation to these attacks.

Graham further went on to urge Biden to strike Iran immediately, stating:

“The only thing the Iranian regime understands is force. Until they pay a price with their infrastructure and their personnel, the attacks on U.S. troops will continue. Secretary Austin’s efforts to deter aggression against our forces in the region has failed miserably. I’ve long since lost confidence in the Biden national security team to deter Iran. If they do not change their policies now, more American service members in the region will pay the price. Hit Iran now. Hit them hard.”

Cotton went on to demand for “devastating military retaliation” against “Iran’s terrorist forces.”

“The only answer to these attacks must be devastating military retaliation against Iran’s terrorist forces, both in Iran and across the Middle East. Anything less will confirm Joe Biden as a coward unworthy of being commander-in-chief,” Cotton said.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) also chimed in:

Rep. Mike Waltz also slammed Biden’s falure:

Border Patrol Union TURNS On Joe Biden

The Biden administration received a shocking revelation from the head of the U.S. Border Patrol union on Friday. National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd disclosed that agents stationed along the Texas-Mexico border were not necessarily in agreement with the tactics employed by the White House.

According to Judd, the agents were unequivocally against removing the razor wire that had been set up by the Texas National Guard and law enforcement personnel to deter illegal entry into the state and the country.

Despite the Supreme Court’s ruling on Monday, which permitted federal authorities to dismantle the wire barriers erected by Texas along the southern border, the state is persisting in installing additional wire barriers at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas. This site came under Texas’ control earlier this month. Border Patrol agents have shown considerable support for Texas’ initiatives, as confirmed by numerous rank-and-file agents who recently spoke with the DCNF.

“Agents absolutely do not want to cut the razor wire, but we have an obligation to follow a legal order,” Judd told the DCNF. “We will continue to put as much pressure on the admin to fix the crisis as we can. That will not change.”

CNN reported that on January 14, the Biden administration reached out to Ken Paxton, the Republican state Attorney General of Texas, through a letter. The letter requested that Texas withdraw from its position at Shelby Park by January 17. In response, Paxton confirmed that Texas would continue to maintain its presence at the location.

On Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) sent another letter to Paxton, urging him to grant Border Patrol full access to Shelby Park.

Initially, the Biden administration claimed that state authorities had impeded border agents from assisting three migrants who drowned in the Rio Grande. However, the Department of Justice (DOJ) later admitted in a court filing that state authorities had not been informed until after the tragic drownings had occurred.

Judd stated that the union was striving to compel President Joe Biden to take action in order to ensure border security through a “public pressure” campaign.

“Public pressure is the only pressure that works. We’re the ones who have been out in front of the issue since day one. We took the largest contingent of U.S. Senators ever to the border, and my job is to continue to tell the truth and try to foster public conversation,” Judd told the DCNF. “There are a lot of others, including those in the media, that are trying to give the public all the facts to allow them to make informed decisions based [on] complete information.”

According to a statement obtained from the Texas Military Department by Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently issued an order for state authorities and National Guard troops to take control of the city park. This park is a significant entry point for migrants who are entering the country illegally. Additionally, Governor Abbott has instructed Texas Department of Public Safety officers and other law enforcement officials to provide assistance. It is worth noting that Governor Abbott, a Republican, has been engaged in a longstanding dispute with the administration over policies implemented by President Biden, which many believe have contributed to the current border crisis.

“The Texas National Guard has maintained a presence with security points and temporary barrier in Shelby Park since 2021. The current posture is to prepare for future illegal immigrant surges and to restrict access to organizations that perpetuate illegal immigrant crossings in the park and greater Eagle Pass area,” the department said.

“Texas will continue to deploy Texas National Guard soldiers, DPS troopers, and more barriers, utilizing every tool and strategy to respond to President Biden’s ongoing border crisis,” Abbott’s spokeswoman responded.

The Border Patrol announced that Abbott “is not harming Border Patrol operations, he is enhancing them. His seizing control of Shelby Park allows our agents to deploy to troubled spots that experience high numbers of gotaways. Governor Abbott’s actions should be seen as a force multiplier.”

Top Trump Enemy ARRESTED

The little-known Republican presidential contender and attorney hailing from Texas, who has initiated numerous legal actions in various states to invalidate former President Donald Trump’s eligibility for the 2024 election, was apprehended on federal charges.

“John Anthony Castro was indicted last week on 33 counts of aiding the preparation of false tax returns. Prosecutors claim he ran a virtual tax preparation business that provided customers with tax returns beyond what they were actually owed, defrauding the government,” The Hill reported.

The court documents revealed “Castro would promise a significantly higher refund than taxpayers could receive from other preparers and on many occasions, offered to split the additional refund with taxpayers. In order to achieve these larger refunds, Castro generated false deductions, that were not based in fact, and which were submitted without the taxpayer’s knowledge.”

The Hill went on to say:

“Castro was busted by an undercover police officer, prosecutors outlined, who posed as a customer for his tax services. While a reputable tax preparer promised the undercover agent a $373 tax return, Castro instead claimed he could get $6,007, and offered to split the difference in extra cash.

The tax forms Castro then filed on behalf of the undercover officer contained nearly $30,000 in fraudulently claimed deductions, prosecutors said.”

Castro faced indictment on the very day his ballot challenge in New Hampshire was dismissed. Comparable cases have likewise been denied in Florida, Michigan, and Nevada. Despite numerous lawsuits invoking the 14th Amendment that are still pending resolution, none of them have achieved substantial advancement.

However, the situation in Colorado and Maine regarding Trump’s eligibility for the ’24 ballot has taken a different turn. The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to review the Colorado decision, while the Maine Supreme Court has chosen to delay its decision until the nation’s highest court provides a ruling.

A judge from the state superior court had previously halted the declaration made by Democratic Secretary of State Shenna Bellows on December 28, which stated that Trump could not appear on the ballot. This was based on Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. On February 8, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear Trump’s appeal against the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision from December 19, which disqualified him from participating in the state’s election. According to Fox News, all briefs related to the case must be filed by January 31, and the oral arguments will take place a week later.

“We now dismiss the appeal because we conclude that it is interlocutory and that no statutory or judicially created exception to our rule requiring a final judgment on appeal applies,” the Maine Supreme Court’s decision said.

In August, Special Counsel Jack Smith successfully secured a four-count indictment against Trump. The charges encompass conspiracy to deceive the United States, conspiracy against the right to vote and ensure the counting of one’s vote, and conspiracy to impede and obstruct the proceedings on January 6. Notably, Smith refrained from charging Trump with inciting insurrection.

“The Secretary of State suggests that there is irreparable harm because a delay in certainty about whether Trump’s name should appear on the primary ballot will result in voter confusion,” the court said in the unanimous, unsigned opinion. “This uncertainty is, however, precisely what guides our decision not to undertake immediate appellate review in this particular case. Multiple alternative outcomes would be more effectively addressed through the Superior Court’s order of remand to the Secretary of State.”

Breaking: Trump Calls On States To Send Troops To Back Up Texas vs Biden

In response to the Biden administration’s deadline to cease and desist, former President Donald Trump has urged “willing” states to send their National Guard to Texas in order to assist Governor Greg Abbott in addressing the ongoing issue of illegal immigration.

Through his Truth Social platform, the prominent GOP presidential candidate specifically called for the deployment of National Guard troops from these states to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants into Texas. Trump’s call for action is a direct response to Governor Abbott’s declaration of an “invasion” and his invocation of the right to “self-defense” under Article I of the U.S. Constitution.

“When I was President, we had the most secure Border in History. Joe Biden has surrendered our Border, and is aiding and abetting a massive Invasion of millions of Illegal Migrants into the United States,” Trump wrote on Thursday.

“Instead of fighting to protect our Country from this onslaught, Biden is, unbelievably, fighting to tie the hands of Governor Abbott and the State of Texas, so that the Invasion continues unchecked. In the face of this National Security, Public Safety, and Public Health Catastrophe, Texas has rightly invoked the Invasion Clause of the Constitution, and must be given full support to repel the Invasion,” he continued.

“We encourage all willing States to deploy their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of Illegals, and to remove them back across the Border,” Trump added. “All Americans should support the commonsense measures by Texas authorities to protect the Safety, Security, and Sovereignty of Texas, and of the American people.

“When I am President, on Day One, instead of fighting Texas, I will work hand in hand with Governor Abbott and other Border States to Stop the Invasion, Seal the Border, and Rapidly Begin the Largest Domestic Deportation Operation in History. Those Biden has let in should not get comfortable because they will be going home,” Trump pledged.

Some criticized congressional Democrats and a few Republicans who aim to connect enhanced border security with financial support for Ukraine’s conflict with Russia, as well as Taiwan and Israel.

“Democrats want to tie the security of the US border to funding a war in Ukraine, which is absolutely a ridiculous concept,” Post Millennial Editor-in-Chief Libby Emmons told Newsmax TV.

Earlier this week, Abbott declared that his administration will persist in defying the Biden White House and intensify enforcement measures against migrants who enter the state unlawfully. He accused the president of neglecting his constitutional duty to uphold border security and immigration laws faithfully.

During a two-week disagreement between the state and federal governments regarding the jurisdiction of a 2.5-mile stretch of Texas land, Abbott boldly expressed his opposition to the Biden administration’s directives to halt action. In a public letter, Abbott emphasized that Texas has a “constitutional right to self-defense,” highlighting the White House’s failure to fulfill its obligation, as outlined in the nation’s founding document, to safeguard all 50 states and territories. The Washington Examiner reported that the federal government had not taken sufficient measures to control the influx of unauthorized immigrants over the past three years.

“The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting states, including immigration laws on the books right now. President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even violated them,” Abbott wrote.

WITCH HUNT: Trump Ordered to Pay $83.3 MILLION

Former advice columnist E. Jean Carroll has been granted an additional $83.3 million by a jury after accusing former President Donald Trump of damaging her reputation by calling her a liar following her allegations of sexual assault. The verdict was announced on Friday by a jury consisting of seven men and two women.

Trump, who had been present throughout the trial, abruptly left the courtroom during Carroll’s lawyer’s closing arguments, only to return later.

As the verdict was read, Carroll smiled, while Trump had already left the premises in his motorcade. This marks the second time in nine months that a jury has reached a verdict regarding Carroll’s claim of a violent encounter with Trump in 1996. In May, a different jury awarded Carroll $5 million, finding Trump responsible for sexually abusing her and defaming her by claiming she fabricated the incident.

Trump is currently appealing that decision. In the first trial, Trump did not attend, but later expressed regret for his absence. In the second trial, he insisted on testifying, although the judge limited his statements, ruling that he had missed his opportunity to argue his innocence. Trump spent only a few minutes on the witness stand, denying the attack before leaving the court and expressing dissatisfaction, stating, “this is not America.”

The recent jury was solely tasked with determining the amount that Trump, aged 77, should compensate Carroll, aged 80, for two statements he made during his presidency in response to reporters’ inquiries after excerpts from Carroll’s memoir were published in a magazine. These damages were previously unresolved due to ongoing legal appeals. It is important to note that the jurors were not required to reconsider whether the alleged sexual assault actually occurred.

Carroll’s legal team had requested $24 million in compensatory damages along with a notably high punitive award. During her closing argument on Friday, Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, implored the jurors to impose a punishment on Trump that would dissuade him from continuously making public statements that defame Carroll as a liar and a “whack job.”

As Kaplan spoke, Trump vehemently shook his head before abruptly standing up and leaving the room, accompanied by Secret Service agents. This sudden departure occurred mere minutes after the judge, in the absence of the jury, threatened to hold Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, in contempt and potentially send her to jail for disregarding his instruction to conclude her remarks.

“You are on the verge of spending some time in the lockup. Now sit down,” the judge told Habba, who immediately complied.

Trump’s relentless pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination for a third consecutive time coincided with the conclusion of his trial. In a strategic move, he has skillfully transformed his numerous legal battles and vulnerabilities into an advantageous position, presenting them as proof of a politicized system.

Despite the absence of any substantiated claims implicating President Joe Biden or the White House in influencing the legal proceedings against him, Trump’s narrative has struck a chord with his unwavering supporters, who approach these proceedings with a skeptical eye.

Alert: Congressional Dems Push For Civil War

Texas Governor Greg Abbott showed no signs of concern or surprise when the U.S. Supreme Court reversed a previous decision made by a lower court, which had prohibited the Border Patrol from dismantling the razor wire that had been installed along the southern border of the nation by the Texas National Guard.

“This is not over. … I will continue to defend Texas’ constitutional authority to secure the border and prevent the Biden Admin from destroying our property,” the Republican said in a post on X.

Abbott explained the decision, citing “Texas’ constitutional right to self-defense” and declaring the “federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States.”

It is evident that numerous conservative Americans were curious about whether the governor would take such a stance. The topic sparked extensive discussions on social media platforms, with some even mentioning the possibility of a civil war if he didn’t. While conservative America certainly does not desire this outcome, many individuals believe that President Joe Biden and the Democrats do, and that this is the intended outcome of their actions.

Conservatives simply want an end to the border invasion, and they perceive Governor Abbott as addressing this issue while President Biden is not. This lack of logic in their eyes leads them to suspect a hidden agenda.

Currently, there are Democrats in Congress who are urging the president to exert federal control over the Texas National Guard in order to prevent Governor Abbott from safeguarding his state’s border with Mexico.

Democratic Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro said, “Governor Greg Abbott is using the Texas National Guard to obstruct and create chaos at the border. If Abbott is defying yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, @POTUS needs to establish sole federal control of the Texas National Guard now.”

The Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling has been widely criticized by many Americans, who believe it is not in the best interest of the United States. On the other hand, they see Abbott’s determination to protect our border as the right course of action.

Due to the president’s refusal to fulfill his duties as outlined in Article IV of the Constitution, Abbott had no choice but to take action in line with Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 to safeguard the border.

Biden’s actions have put the governor in a difficult position, and Abbott has responded accordingly. This has created a ripple effect, with Democrats expecting Biden to take action and Americans preparing for any outcome if he does.
